<\/p>\nOrigami New Cairo is a residential phase being built by Madinet Masr inside the Taj City project on the Suez Road in New Cairo. It is under construction. The units released by the developer sold out on 17 September 2026, and units are now available through resale. As of October 2026, Origami prices start from EGP 5.7 million at launch, with a 5% down payment, installments over up to 12 years and delivery in the fourth quarter of 2028.<\/p>\n
Origami is not a standalone compound but one of the phases of Taj City, a master plan of about 900 feddans with more than 80% green space. The Origami phase’s own area has not been published, so we cite the area of the parent Taj City as a reference only. Origami units are offered as apartments, penthouses, duplexes and townhouses, and all of them face gardens, green corridors or water features.<\/p>\n
There is also a nearby phase called Origami Golf inside Taj City, with unit sizes starting from 58 sqm, a 10% down payment and 8-year installments. It is a different phase from Origami, and the two should not be confused when comparing.<\/p>\n

Origami sits in the heart of Taj City on the Suez Road and the extension of El Thawra Street, close to the First Settlement, and is counted among the Fifth Settlement compounds. El Thawra Street is a few minutes away, the American University about 15 minutes, Heliopolis Sporting Club about 18 minutes and the New Administrative Capital about 20 minutes. The project is also close to Cairo Airport and City Stars Mall. The Origami Golf page adds that direct access to the Ring Road is available and that Cairo Festival City Mall is about 7 minutes away.<\/p>\n

Taj City has a 5-star hotel, a social club, green spaces, water features, running and cycling paths, and round-the-clock security with surveillance cameras, close to shopping centers and educational and medical services.
