Madinet Masr launched Taj City in 2012 as its first move into integrated communities, and it remains the company’s flagship. The master plan combines housing, services, and commercial and administrative areas in a single 3.7 million sq m development, with most of the land given to green spaces, artificial lakes and walking and cycling tracks (as of October 2026).<\/p>\n
The project is divided into several residential neighborhoods, each with its own architectural identity: Etagi (25 feddans of studios and apartments), Origami Golf, Origami, Club Side, Taj Ville and Elect for villas, Park Residence, Taj Gardens, Taj Sultan, Lake Park Studios, Chalia (289,000 sq m) and Kenda. Several residential phases have sold out completely, so the units available today are concentrated in the newest phases and on the resale market.<\/p>\n
On the commercial side, the project includes Tagged, the first integrated commercial area in Taj City, and the Shark Tank Business Park building (80,000 sq m), along with projects about to launch such as Taj Mall, Taj Yard and Kenda Offices.
