The project was announced in May 2026 under the name “Rowaa Resort”, and work began in July 2026. It offers small-area units with a down payment from 5%, installments up to 8 years and the largest water city in the area (as of the last update in October 2026).<\/p>\n
The idea behind Rowaa is to make water part of daily life inside the village, as stated by Eng. Moamen Hassan, chairman and managing director of Alchemy, when the project was announced. The master plan includes a large water-games area, artificial lakes, an international hotel and a commercial and tourist promenade, with low building density that gives residents more privacy, as described by the developer.<\/p>\n
