IL Monte Galala Ain Sokhna is a large residential and hotel resort on the Galala Plateau, developed by Tatweer Misr<\/a>. Its first phases are partly delivered, while new phases are on sale under construction, such as Maesta<\/a> and Elva<\/a>. Prices at IL Monte Galala start from EGP 7.4 million, with a 5% down payment and installments over up to 10 years. Delivery for the current phases is in December 2029. The project covers 530 feddans (about 2.2 million sqm).<\/p>\n

Location of IL Monte Galala and kilometre marker<\/h2>\n

The project is on the Galala Plateau in Ain Sokhna on the Zafarana Road, about 11 km from Porto Sokhna and roughly an hour and a half from Cairo. It is about 120 km from Cairo and 55 km from Suez city on the Suez-Sokhna road, and the distance is given as 130 km elsewhere. No single kilometre marker on the road is published for the project. Units are built on terraces in the mountain facing the sea, so most units get a view of the lagoon, the mountain or the sea.<\/p>\n

Maesta and Elva are two phases of the current project. Elva includes apartments, duplexes, townhouses and villas in a V-shaped layout that gives most units a view of the lagoon, the mountain or the sea. Unit prices differ between the first phase and resale.<\/p>\n

IL Monte Galala within the Galala project<\/h3>\n

IL Monte Galala Towers and Marina is a coastal extension of Galala City, a government project at about 700 metres above sea level. That means the resort is built on the mountain terraces and looks out over the sea, with a beach and a hospitality area inside the resort, which makes it different from some Sokhna villages that sit directly on the shore. So choose the building and floor depending on how close you want to be to the lagoon, the beach and the services, and check the actual distance between your unit and the beach during the viewing.<\/p>\n

IL Monte Galala prices<\/h2>\n

Prices at IL Monte Galala start from EGP 7.4 million for a hotel studio (July 2026 update) in the Maesta phase, and from EGP 7.7 million for Elva. Apartments range from EGP 9.9 to 12 million and villas from EGP 23 to 25 million. Resale shows lower or higher figures depending on the unit’s location and finishing, including a 65 sqm chalet at about EGP 5.5 million and a 288 sqm villa at about EGP 26.3 million in mid-2026. These are unofficial prices that change daily.<\/p>\n
