About WestWay Developments
WestWay was formed from the merger of several real estate entities: Diar Hany Farag, which works in 6th of October and Sheikh Zayed, DIG Real Estate Development, which holds a portfolio in east and west Cairo, and Maamar El Farouk in west Cairo. Its board is chaired by Dr. Mohamed Farouk, with Hussein Salah as vice chairman. The board also includes Eng. Hany Farag and Mohamed Fawzy, and Eng. Hany Farag serves as managing director.
In November 2024 the company announced that it had launched six projects in west Cairo in less than two years since its formation, and that it plans to invest EGP 15 billion in the Egyptian market during 2025. Its projects include the 360 Health medical complex in Old Zayed, River Park 1 and 2 in New Sheikh Zayed on 15 feddans each, and the Z4 project in Ganat Zayed.

Ikon Mall 6th of October is a commercial project on more than 15,000 square meters with a ground floor and three upper floors, combining retail shops, serviced apartments and a hotel. Its site near the Pyramids was chosen to draw both local and foreign visitors. Town Plaza Mall October is a commercial project in New October. River Residence Compound in October Gardens has 21 residential buildings, green areas, a social club and children’s areas, with prices starting from EGP 3.26 million as of November 2026.
