Borouq Developments is an Egyptian-Gulf company founded in 2020 as a collaboration between Qatar High Speed Projects (QHSP), the Emirati company Al Fadhi for Contracting and General Maintenance, and NBS Holding. The company states that its founders have more than 25 years of experience in the Gulf and North Africa. The name is sometimes written Brouk or Boruq.
Its best-known project is Spark Capital Insight Mall in zone MU23 of the New Administrative Capital, on about 9,000 square meters, with investments announced at about EGP 1.5 billion in 2021. Other projects include Cinto and Bling Capital Center. At various times the company has announced plans to invest between EGP 7 billion and EGP 8 billion in its Capital projects.
