PLDG launched the project in January 2026 as part of its expansion in west Cairo. The name is written “Etlala”, “Etlala October” and “Etlala Residence”, and they all mean the same project. It is a community of apartments only, from one to three bedrooms, and a school, a sports club and a commercial mall are part of its plan from the start, so residents do not need to leave the compound for daily needs.

In August 2026 the company opened booking and expressions of interest for the second phase after demand for the first, and booking priority follows the order of registration. The architectural designer is Platoon Designs Group, and the general consultant is Moharram Bakhoum (ACE).
