What is Ain Sokhna?
Ain Sokhna is a coastal city on the Gulf of Suez on the Red Sea, in Suez Governorate, about 120 km from Cairo. That is between an hour and a half and two hours by car, depending on where you start and the traffic. From the New Administrative Capital the drive takes about an hour and a half. This proximity has made it the nearest seaside escape to Cairo all year round, not only in summer, because the round trip fits in a single day.
A strip of villages and resorts runs along the coast, from Ain Sokhna itself to the Galala area, which sits on the mountain and overlooks the gulf. This page covers more than 25 projects, including chalets, apartments, villas, hotel towers and a marina.
Unit types in Ain Sokhna
Most of what is on offer is coastal chalets and apartments with one to three bedrooms. Hotel studios are available at low entry prices, and the larger resorts also offer townhouses and villas. The market splits into new villages under construction, sold by the developer with a down payment and installments, and delivered villages sold on the resale market at prices that differ completely from the launch price. Read every price together with the condition of the unit.
