What is Hadayek October?
Hadayek October is a residential and urban district in 6th of October City, on the Wahat Road and alongside the Regional Ring Road and the Fayoum Road. It is surrounded by well-known landmarks in west Cairo: Zewail City of Science and Technology, Media Production City, Mall of Egypt and Mall of Arabia. From some compounds you reach the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum in about 20 minutes and Sheikh Zayed in about 40 minutes. These figures are approximate and change with traffic.
The district is one of the newest extensions of October, so it is dominated by new projects under construction or recently delivered. We list 10 projects here, including residential compounds and commercial and administrative malls.

- Ashgar City by IGI: on 148 feddans on the Wahat Road, from EGP 3.55 million with a 6% down payment and installments over up to 8 years.
- Rock Eden by Rock: ready-to-receive units from EGP 8.4 million with an 8% down payment and installments over up to 8 years.
Malls and commercial projects
- Ravina Square Mall: shops starting from EGP 1.58 million for the smallest 15 m² shop.
- G Yard Mall: units from EGP 2.77 million on a total area of about 2,550 m².
- Al Walaa Plaza Mall: price per meter from EGP 140,000.
- The Location Mall: from EGP 5.8 million, with an average price per meter of about EGP 150,000.
- Cre8t Mall: commercial units from EGP 6.2 million.
How to compare prices
Apartments in Hadayek October start from lower figures than Sheikh Zayed, from EGP 1.8 million to about EGP 5 million in most projects, and reach EGP 8 million and above for the larger ready units. Payment plans vary from a 6% to a 20% down payment and installments of 5 to 8 years, so comparing the total price is not enough. Compare the monthly installment, the delivery date and the finishing status as well.
What to check before buying
Review the status of the phase on offer, because some compounds include delivered phases and others still in development, with dates running from 2027 to 2030. Ask about the launch price, the price of remaining units and the resale price, because the gap between them can be large. At Acacia, for example, resale units are offered between EGP 3.5 and 3.85 million. Confirm whether club and maintenance fees are included in the price, and test the road to your workplace at rush hour before you book.
